My name is Joanna Clark and I am a IPHM accredited Reiki Practitioner, based at Surrey Holistic in Godalming, Surrey.

I am also an IPHM accredited Group Sound Healer.
I'm dedicated to providing a serene, kind and safe environment where you can relax & experience the benefits of these powerful energy healing modalities.

What is Reiki?
Reiki is a globally practiced and recognised holistic energy healing therapy that originated in Japan in the early 20th century by Mikao Usui.
The word Reiki comes from the two Japanese words Rei and Ki. Rei can be translated as Spirit, Divine or Source and Ki , (the same idea as Chi in Chinese and Prana in Sanskrit), which means Universal Energy or Universal Life Force. Together the word Reiki can best be translated as Spiritual Energy.
Reiki practitioners use their hands to transfer this energy to others through a series of hand positions placed on or near the body. The aim is to move and balance the 'energy' within and around your body. This process helps to shift or remove any blockages or imbalances in the flow of energy, which can encourage physical, emotional, and spiritual healing.
You may feel a tingling sensation, a deep relaxation, or warmth or coolness throughout your body. Or, you may not feel anything at all, this doesn’t mean the treatment isn’t working.
Reiki is not a massage but a spiritual healing therapy.

What is Sound Healing?
Sound Healing is an ancient practice that has been used for centuries to promote healing in the body, mind, and spirit. It involves the uses of sound, music and specialist instruments, combined with deep self-reflection techniques to improve health and wellbeing.
When sound waves enter the body, they affect different parts in different ways. Low-frequency sound waves, for example, can be beneficial to our physical health. These sound waves cause the muscles in the body to relax and release tension and stress. They also help to improve blood circulation which helps with nutrient delivery throughout the body. On the other hand, high-frequency sound waves have an effect on our mental state and emotional well-being. They can help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep quality, and boost our mood.
During a Sound Bath, the use of specific instruments such as Tibetan singing bowls, 432Hz frosted crystal chakra singing bowls, gongs, drums, tingshas, Koshi chimes, music, tones, and other sonic vibrations, can be used to help balance and heal the body, mind, and spirit.

ABOUT ME
Hello. My name is Joanna & I am an IPHM accredited Reiki Practioner and Group Sound Healer, based in Surrey U.K.
The pandemic allowed me the opportunity for a career change, retraining as a Reiki, Rahanni and Group Sound Healing Practitioner. I now finally feel like I am doing what I was always destined to do, and being able to share these wonderful healing modalities with others is such an honour and a privilege.
Whether you seek relaxation, solace from physical discomfort, release from emotional burdens, stress relief, or a deeper connection to your inner self, my purpose is to create a relaxing, safe and sacred space for healing to unfold.
